Morphe

Lucy McRae, who apparently describes herself as a “body-architect” (???) has been commissioned by Aesop—a company that makes superlative products for the skin, hair and body—to make a short film.  And the result, entitled “Morphe,” has the creepiness of every sci-fi movie scene involving human creation that you’ve ever witnessed.

You can watch the video below, and if you decide to do so, you’ll see a scientist in an abandoned church using a bunch of weird scientific treatments on some kind of artificial humanoid. Pretty edgy stuff for a corporate short film, right? It reminded me a lot of The Skin I Live In, and I’m simply going to assume that was what Aesop wanted.
