LG’s 84-Inch ‘Ultra’ HDTV
The successor to the Sony Xperia S smartphone is here, now with an “L” added to the end of the name. It’s called the Sony Xperia SL, and while it may not exhibit a big departure from the Xperia S in most departments (including the S’s infamous 4.3 inch screen), the SL does have a faster 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, compared to the S’s 1.5 GHz processor.
Sony is staying low-key with the new SL, with nothing in the way of a big announcement taking place. Instead, it’s merely appeared on Sony’s website under a “coming soon” banner. You can also get a full list of specs there, but no information regarding pricing, carriers, or even a release date have been made available up to this point. So stay tuned.
