louis vuitton presents all aboard games

Louis Vuitton has put up a new animated short that takes a fantastic and surrealist trip into a Louis Vuitton game case.

Games have been a part of humanity’s development since the dawn of civilization. Some very early examples of games include dice found in Iran, dominos in China, chess in India, and roulette in France.  Games have captured the ideas and behaviors of civilizations throughout history and they provide us with a glimpse of how people back then challenged their counterparts.

Today, games are integral to the fabric of our lives, from complex rule-based team sports like baseball and football, to boardgames and interactive videogames. Each of these games comes with their own set of strategies, with rows and symbols representing plans of action and chance.

To that end, Ill Studio and Louis Vuitton have collaborated to produce a video about the universe of games, how they pass the time, and evolve from one move to the next in different systems of transition.

Take a look.
