Dubai's Discus Water Hotel
Dubai is a land of luxury and sinful extravagance, and the announcement that they plan to build an underwater hotel should come as no surprise to us.

A Polish architectural firm called Deep Ocean Technology, which specializes in–as you would expect from the name—has announced its plans to build the Water Discus Hotel, an underwater hotel in the shape of multiple discs.

Relatively small, the Water Discus Hotel by DOT will contain 21 luxurious rooms and is the first of several discus hotels planned for the Middle Eastern region.

According to DOT, each Water Discus Hotel is made of two discs—an underwater and above-water one. The combination allows hotel guests to admire the depths of the ocean or view the waves from above.

The underwater disc is located about 10 meters beneath the surface of the sea, containing 21 hotel rooms adjacent to an underwater dive center and a bar. Guests who live underwater can view ocean wildlife from the safety of their bedrooms.
